With winter (almost) behind us, now is the perfect time to begin tackling projects to get your home ready for spring and summer, as well as complete some routine maintenance for the winter wear and tear.
One of the quickest tasks you can do is inspecting your driveway and sidewalks. Freezing and thawing in the winter months can frequently lead to damage that can easily be observed by taking a quick walk around your property. You can then schedule repairs as you see fit.
March is also the perfect time to begin inspections for pests and termites. Check for holes in woodwork and if there are bugs in this area. It is more cost efficient to catch termites early. While on the “bug” topic, now is the ideal time to begin prepping for mosquito season. Be sure to check your property for areas where standing water appears to be an issue and get this fixed before the summer months!
For larger projects and improved curb appeal, you can direct your focus to washing your windows, cleaning your gutters/downspouts, inspecting your roof, painting the exterior of your home, and checking your irrigation system.
